GEO Audit · AI search visibility

Does ChatGPT recommend you — or your competitor?

When a buyer asks ChatGPT, Google's AI Overview, Gemini or Perplexity for the best business in their suburb, they get named two or three businesses and they stop reading. A GEO Audit measures whether you're one of them — live, today — shows you exactly who's being named instead of you and why, and hands back a prioritised plan to become the business the AI names. We ran it on ourselves first: Google's AI was sending people to a competitor over us. We watched it happen and fixed it in a day.Get the full audit — $490 →Get the free 1-page mini-audit

The proof — measured live, not theory

A clinic with 60 reviews can be beating one with 144.

  • Dr Peter Fraser60 reviews · ★ shown
  • MC Dental Brighton279 reviews · ★ shown
  • A clinic with 144 reviews✕ not in the top 3

This isn't a reputation problem — the reputation is already there. It's a visibilityproblem: the profile and the site aren't speaking the language the AI and the local pack rank on. That's exactly what the audit measures, and exactly what the fixes solve. Findings measured live on Google, 9 Jun 2026.

Why you go missing

AI doesn't rank "who's best." It ranks signals most businesses never set up.

01 — The profile

Google Business Profile

Rating, review count, categories, services, posts, photos, NAP. The single biggest input into who the local pack and AI Overview name — and the one most clinics leave half-built.

02 — The markup

Machine-readable schema

The structured data that tells ChatGPT and Google exactly what you are, where, your services and your reviews. Invisible to humans, decisive to the AI.

03 — The entity

Entity clarity & corroboration

Consistent name, address and phone across the web, plus the third-party mentions and listicle presence that tell the model you're one established, trusted business.

The deliverable

An 8–12 page report you could act on without us.

Buyer prompt set

28–32 real queries

The exact things your customers type into AI — "best [category] in [suburb]" and the niche variants — run live so we can see who gets named.

Citation scorecard

Per-engine read

How likely each AI — ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Gemini, Perplexity — is to name you, from measured signals. Clearly labelled estimate, never dressed up as a measurement.

Signal inventory

Measured + graded

Schema, GBP + reviews, NAP consistency, directory/listicle presence, entity clarity, third-party corroboration — each checked live and scored.

Lost-prompt + competitor gap

Who's winning, and why

The queries you should win, who wins them today, and the specific reason. No vague "do more SEO" — named competitors, measured gaps.

Prioritised fix pack

P1 / P2 / P3

Every fix with its target prompts, expected impact and how to implement. Do it yourself, or have us do the P1 work for you.

Success metrics

30 / 60 / 90-day tracking

What to measure and when, so the work is accountable to the only thing that matters — getting named when a buyer asks.

Audit + Done-For-You

The audit plus we implement the priority-one fixes — schema, Google profile, entity clarity, directory consistency. The plumbing, done.

GEO Growth retainer

Visibility isn't set-and-forget — competitors keep moving and the engines keep changing. GEO Growth keeps the schema, content and entity work going, runs a review engine, and re-measures your citation likelihood every month with a report that ties the work to who the AI actually names. Held deliberately at the low end of market — below ~$1k/mo signals "can't deliver." Book a brief to start.

All prices exclude GST. Plus, GEO content is exactly what our production retainer already shoots — the video and pages the AI quotes.

The honesty spine

We under-promise and over-label. That's the moat.

Most GEO sellers overpromise — "we'll get you #1 in ChatGPT." That's misleading conduct, and it's also just not how these models work: ask the same question twice and you can get different businesses named. So we sell citation likelihood, never a guarantee.

Every line in the report is tagged. [measured] means we captured it live with a screenshot on file — engine and date. [inferred] means it's an expert estimate from those measured signals, and we say so. We never present an estimate as a measurement, never fabricate a competitor or a number, and the audit only ships if a real person has verified it. That's what keeps it defensible to you and to the ACCC — and it's why the findings actually hold up when you check them.
